Inserts for Composite Sandwich Panels

To alleviate any issues of foam compression, creep and tight tolerance, Carbon Dial Tables are required to have metallic inserts adhesively bonded into the composite structure.

Thru Holes are the recommended method of tool attachment unless envelope prohibits under-surface nut.

Inserts are available, manufactured from Aluminum 6061-T6, High Strength Alloy Steel and Stainless Steel. To improve insert shear carrying capability the surface is fine knurled.
